Bill Bacheller digging trenches. Fist we would dig trenches using a string as a guide. Then Luciano would come behind us and make them level and the right width and depth. Then someone would bring rocks and place them in the trench and someone else would pound the rocks into the ground. Always present was  the watergirl(guy) who would put water on the ground so we could dig and pound.
